Eight mile dash

Ned Kelly awakes from his bed,
gets into his brand new holden ute. Drives to the town square and said
"give me all your gold!"
The cops are alerted.
Now begins the 8 mile dash!
Ned is bolting through the bush,
The cops are hot on his trail.
Ned runs to the river.
The cops follow, Ned is trapped!
Or is he?
Ned jumps into the river,
The cops are confused
Ned swims to the other side.
Ned is free!
