Death's mystery

A fearful thought for the many,
A remedy for the few,
No one knows if there is any,
Life after the next,
Do we lead another's life to the last day,
Or vanish into the abiss,
Maybe experience eternal life's way,
Or suffer forever in a world of fame,
No one knows what will become of us,
No one knows whatwe lose or gain,
Death is a puzzling element thus,
Death is the eternal mystery.
