Death had victory over me
I was dying in shame
I can neither turn nor run away
But another came to bear the pain
He is the One who came to save
Taking away the cost
God and His Son who always loved me
They who carried me when I was lost
His life was given for my own
Recieved through Christ by grace
Unselfish mercy shown through this act
Through Him only can one truly live
