One chance

If I would have known you only get one chance to live life to the fullest,
I would have tried harder.
If I would have known you,
I would have been nicer.
If I would have known life isn’t perfect,
I wouldn’t have wished it to be so.
If I would have known you only get one chance to sing,
I would have sung.
If I would have known life is risky,
I would have been more cautious.
If I would have known mistakes are worthwhile,
I would have made more of them.
If I would have known I love you mean more than it speaks,
I would have said it.
Only if I would have known.
