Lush greenery
cascades down
the mountain side.
So serene and idle
sits the mountain,
encircling the valley
as a mother would a child.
Moist and damp
from midnight showers,
dew ornaments blades of grass and leaves.
Tradewind sighs
weave along the majestic
Manoa Valley.
