Gold is an expression, an outstanding victorious colour.
If you look into the heavens you will see no other.
Gold is a luxurious mountain; it stands out by far,
Gold is something special, as delicate as a star.
Gold is big and bold, a type of strength if you please.
People are so eager to have it; they never live in ease.
Gold is the colour of a lion’s thick mane
Chasing him is like a big, scary game.
And now that, that is over and I have scratches all over my back,
I would like to send this poem to you and I hope you send something back.
