A friend, i am to you

Standing by, all the way,
I am a friend to you.

Helping you with your needs,
I’ll be there when you call for me.

Comforting you when tears are in your eyes,
I’ll make them all dry.

Holding you up when you are weak,
I’ll help you succeed in whatever you seek.

When you are afraid,
I’ll be right by your side, making your fears fade.

No need to look any farther,
I am right here.

All that you need to say,
“Is won’t you be my friend today?”
