God's paintbrush

To walk amidst the rooms of Spring
And feel a wintery chill,
As I watch rainbows freely fly
In beauty none can still.
To think that God made such a thing
Is truly beyond my mind.
For, when I think of God,
I think He's wrathful and is kind.
I never would have thought He'd pick
The Paintbrush of the Sky
And make with it a splendor
That at daVinci would so cry.
A rainbow shows God's tendor side,
Just as a snowflake would.
It's nice to know we have an Artist
To show us what is good.
