There are too many questions in a teenagers life
We struggle to find the answers which can lead to strife
We are always pestered, questioned and asked
On what our future plans are, be it traveling or some harder task
We get it at home, at work and at school
Do I apply for Uni, TAFE or live off the dole like a fool
Some people may find it hard to believe
We won’t live for the future if it means no relief
We have interests other then English and math’s
We enjoy sports, “hangin’ out” and just having laughs
It is true that we can sometimes be a pain
We can moan, groan and like to complain
But it must be remembered when these problems arise
The amount of pressure we have built up inside
I’m just a simple teenager pouring out my heart
I need the cash for a car so let me win you old fart.
