A year back now i lost my heart to the sweetest guy,
Its as if he gave me wings and permission to fly.
I was the happiest i could have ever been,
The love in his eyes was constantly seen.
But now time has slowly passed by,
All because of one stupid lie,
I dont feel complete no more,
Every conversation we have results in a war.
My heart feels like its broken into two,
Does he love me still, i wouldnt have a clue?
I wish that he could see that i am the girl for him,
And i wish he would believe me when i say 'I Love him'
Cause feelings like this i have never felt before,
There so pure and real and i chose not to ignore.
I know deep down you still care for me,
And i hope one day you are my husband-to-be.
Im sorry for all the hurt i have caused on you,
But if you only could see that i do truly love you!
Maybe one day you will forgive me,
But until that day i just pray that you see
All the love and feelings i feel for you,
Cause everything im feeling is so true.
You and I are truly meant to be,
So please baby, please say your still in love with me!
