On the 11th of September
It felt like the 25th of December
As God had given me a present
It was like earth had been sent
It was sent to me
I was as happy as can be
Jolting and jiving
Dancing and diving
Matilda was sent to me
I was as happy as could be
She has blue eyes
Bluer than the night skies
And she has light brown hair
She is so fair
A snub little nose
She can strike any pose
But you know what
She’s my cousin.
