As the bullets shot from the guns
Everybody was running everywhere
The teenagers fighting for their lives,
At home all the family members waiting for the letter.
The tanks came in to enforce the law,
But that just meant for more time spent at war,
All the soldiers were sore and tired,
As heat could only rise.
Attempting to sooth the pain,
The soldiers just wanted to go home,
Because life at war is just hell, no survivors,
for what reward. None.
