You Are Who You Are, You Are Yourself

Don't store your soul in a cupboard or shelf,
You are who you are, you are yourself.
Don't wrap it up in a box,
Or secure it with chains and padlocks.
Inside you glimmers all the colours of the rainbow,
No matter what, your true colours will always show.
So don't put on an act,
You are beautiful and that is a fact.
Just look in the mirror,
You'll see yourself clearer,
Look past the skin,
Reflect on who you are, your life and dig deep within.
Make sure you are glad,
Happy and not sad!
You can be the best person by far,
If you are thrilled with who you are!
