Today mum is taking me down to the beach
I grab my bathers and an apple for us each
Before we left, we had to slip slop slap
We put on our sunscreen and put on a hat
We hop in the car, it doesn’t take long
And on the way I sing to my favourite song
We got to the beach, I ran to the sand
There lay lots of bodies, some burnt, some tanned
We jumped in the water and saw some pretty fish
We made a big sandcastle, but it got squished
We both got hungry it was time for tea
Fish ‘n’ chips on the sand, the waves crashing in the sea
The sun started setting, it was getting late
We headed back home, today was great
