Kitchen

Glasses, clacking
Ovens, dinging
Children, winging
Plates, crashing

The kitchen is a hectic place to be
All the ovens and stoves and children wanting food
Doors, slamming
Fridge doors, banging

Timers, ringing
Books, slapping
Pots, bubbling
Taps, dripping

Sometimes it isn’t half bad
Kettles, clicking
Blenders, blending
And the beautiful aroma of a cake coming out of an oven.
