I can’t believe that you are gone
Away for now and always
Can someone please tell me
Why you’ve left me?
Should I keep waiting and watching?
Are you ever going to come back?
I’m all alone, not knowing what to do
Sitting around all day, just thinking
In the night, I keep the outside light on
Hoping you’ll come home
Should I keep watching and waiting?
Are you ever going to come back?
I still set a place at the table for you
Even though I eat alone
These days I’m really missing you
Maybe one day, you will come home.
