Rap-unzel

Man and woman longed for their precious pearl
Then the woman gave birth to a baby girl
The wicked witch stole her from her mum and dad
She named her Rapunzel, which was rather sad

Rapunzel got locked in a colossal tower
With her hair growing longer and longer by the hour
The witch cried up,“ Yo girl, let down your hair!”
Whenever she needed to be up there

In the tower she was very bored
So she would sing in a harmonious chord
A cool prince came along
And heard her groovy song

He wanted her to wed him
But the chances of getting to the top were slim
Everyday he listened to her singing
Then one day when he was sitting under the trees just chillin’

He saw the witch come from her lair
He also heard her scream, “ Yo girl, let down your hair!”
The prince looked in amazement
As a long golden plait fell to the pavement

The next day the prince rode back on his mare
And tried whispering, “ Yo girl, let down your hair!”
Down came the golden lock
So the prince began to climb up it in shock

Rapunzel was doubtful
Until she heard his voice that was so tranquil
He really knew they should be together
But Rapunzel knew the tower was her home forever

The prince said next time he would bring a rope
Now Rapunzel believed that there was some hope
Now Rapunzel’s song was enraptured
As she waited for her prince- her heart was captured

The wicked witch had caught a glimpse
She knew he was going to take her away- that evil prince
She climbed up the tower and gave Rapunzel a scare
The witch then cut off Rapunzel’s golden hair

The witch told Rapunzel she would never again see the prince
Then she sent her away into the dark forest to live on mince
The witch waited in the tower for a night and a day
She waited for the prince to try and take Rapunzel away

The witch heard him, “Yo girl, let down your hair!”
She threw down the plait that was oh so fair
The prince climbed to the top
He was very surprised to find the ugly slop

The witch told him he would never see Rapunzel again
The she pushed him out the window while muttering,” Stupid men!”
At the foot of the tower was a thorny bush
The prince landed on it and yelled, “OW, MY TOOSH!”

Two thorns then bounced to his eyes
He became horribly blind and began to cry
He wouldn’t believe that Rapunzel was dead
And although he couldn’t see, he began to search for his soon to be wed

Day after day he rode around in stress
He asked everyone if they had seen a beautiful lady in a lovely dress
Then one day he was resting in the shade knowing he would find his love soon
Then he heard a beautiful voice singing a miserable tune

The prince raised his head from side to side
He tried to figure out where the voice was trying to hide
The same sad song was the song that he once heard
“IT’S RAPUNZEL!” he declared

The prince bellowed out, “ Rapunzel, Rapunzel!”
When she heard his voice, she ran to him as fast as she could handle
She was reunited with her prince who she thought she would never see
Then ran to him and threw her arms around his neck quicker than 1, 2, 3

When Rapunzel discovered the prince was blind
Two of her tears fell on to his eyes, which looked extremely kind
Immediately his eyes were cured
He could see again- Thank god coz’ he wasn’t insured

Then the prince took Rapunzel away
Off to the kingdom they went to stay
Soon enough they were married
And in the next few months, Rapunzel carried.
