I am singular – the last oak left standing
I am with others – the completed puzzle
I am the unmarked page – absolutely impassive to everyone
I am the finished account – telling all that I know

I am the storyteller – those who wish, may come to me
I am the closed shop – not giving any more service
I am the good Samaritan – helping those who are in need
I am turning a blind eye – ignoring the problems around me

I am the gentle breeze – birds riding my updrafts
I am the hurricane – destroying all in my path
I am the lion – the predator, hunting for my prey
I am the wolf – the prey, running from the hunters.

I am a 12 year old boy – yet I live in a world of my elders
I am a cricket player – I have found my way with the bat and ball
I am sometimes a dreamer – pondering upon my future
Of one thing I am certain – I will always be a believer.
