My heavy heart sank to my feet,
The pain of death flooded me.
My smile was quickly washed away,
The waterfalls from my eyes poured down my face.
My body descended into bottomless despair,
As waves of sorrow crashed over head.
Distant sobbing rang in my ears,
But with weeping eyes not a thing was clear.
My mind was drowning, crying and beat,
I struggled to breathe as water swamped me.
My sobbing heart broken in two,
The pain of death was all so new.
