Peace and War,
War and peace,
When will warfare ever cease?
Shooting, blowing, guns and bombs all it does is part fathers from sons.
Death and Sorrow,
Broken limbs, people’s arms forever in slings,
That’s all that warfare brings,
So why don’t we just stop all death, bloodshed and the gore.
Reasoning and agreement,
What happened to it all?
Warfare, the beast took it all,
Along with joy, lives are lost;
Warfare has too high a cost.
Peace and War,
War and Peace,
When will warfare ever cease?
Though we wish and hope and try,
Warfare will live and never die.
