ME!

Blue, green eyes that don’t show a lie.
Blonde hair to match.
Natural streaks –not ones that attach!
Freckles on face. Not one out of place.

Small lips curve in a smile.
Showing teeth like shiny white tiles.
A nose that smells; lovely things like Blue-bells!

Love for my family, love for my toys.
Most importantly love for the noise…of my trumpet.
Love for my room, love for my bed.
Love for my swimming cap that clings on my head!

At the pool each Friday night.
Friends jump out – Oh what a fright!
Around the corner they pounce like a bear.
Then laugh so hard when I get quite a scare.

These things are me. My poem must end
Another poem? …Well it might just depend!
