Standing on your hind legs, looking around,
When you go to safety, you hide in the ground.
You eat crawling bugs, big and small,
And your size varies from short to tall.
You’re native to Africa everywhere,
And when you sense danger, you start to stare.
Your young feeds on your milk for very long,
Before they grow up to be big and strong.
You live in a hot climate where it never rains,
And the surroundings around you have never changed.
You have short fur and a long tail,
And your species around you are female and male.
You are edible to eagles and hawks,
And when they’re looking for you, they begin to stalk.
You’re a cute fury animal, your not a brat,
Yes, you guessed it, YOUR A MEERKAT!!
