I Am The Wolf Of Night

The dark consumes my light, creating a monster of the night
I wake up changed in the moon light, conformed into another self
When the sun comes up I find myself back in bed
I feel like I never slept, ever again
I turn on the news hearing a terrible threat
Theirs a creature along the roads at night

I wish I was that creature
Staying up all night
Frightening vandals and having fun
Watching the stars, before the sun
I wonder what it looks like
Weather a threat or not one day I will see it

One day I will know
But my subconscious won’t let me
My other self says no
For it’s afraid I wont let it
It will be trapped
By me, that’s right
I control you, because I am you
