I am the essence of life
The source of our existence
An almost never ending source
My body stretching into the distance

Predators of the bottomless blue
Haunt my darkest reaches
From the darkness of the pacific
To sunny island beaches

Tropical fish, in their natural beauty
Turtles swim in a colourful trance
Coral reach out to absorb the sun
Dolphins do a jumping dance

I am the liquid water
And life is what i give
And if you have tasted me
You will know how to live
