Vive la revolution,
For those atrophied in mind,
Caught and floating motionless,
In whorls of crystalline time.
Caught within the vacuum space,
Between the old and new,
Whilst the fires of civil strife now burning,
Begin at last to consume.
Expect no quarter given,
For those once upon the throne,
The shrieking mob cry for blood,
And death shall now be known.
And so the mighty fell from grace,
And the country formed anew,
Peoples' hopes wrought in blood,
And renewed future, now, the patriots must persue.
