Naughty James

Once there lived a little boy named James. He lived on a big orchard, it was an apple orchard. His mum’s name was Jan and his dad’s name was Rob.
There was a big barn behind the orchard, it was James’ favourite place to hide because it was red, his favourite colour. So one day while his mother was helping his dad get an extremely ripe apple off the tree, James ran to the barn. It was warm and smelt of hay. Inside was his favourite horse Ginger. She had a soft coat. He made a hole in a sack of grain and he poured it over the floor, bag after bag until he was up to his chest in grain. Then his parents came in, so while they dug, James ran out of the barn and took a big bite out of the apple.
