I am water the substance of life
I wonder how much enjoyment I create
I hear the gentle flow through streams
I see myself being contaminated with pollution
I want to be abundant instead of scarce
I am water the substance of life
I pretend that I am blue in colour, where I am as clear as ice
I feel the importance I am to mankind
I touch mankind's thirst for existence
I worry that I will become very scarce in the future
I cry for the millions who are without my aid
I am water the substance of life
I understand that I can be utilized in different ways
I say with time I will be used more wisely
I dream that in the future I am in abundance
I try to spread myself to all locations of the world
I hope people respect what a vital source of life I am
