A Foal!

“I can do it!” said the foal,
“I’m sure, why can’t I?”
He tried and tried and tried.
“I just can’t get up!”
“It’s okay darling,” said the mother sweetly.
“Mmm-a ohm, mmm-a rrrrrrrrrr”
“Maybe I can’t get up.”
“You will”, reassured mother.
“So I will have to stay down here for the rest of my
life!” said the foal sadly, ignoring his mother.
“One more try” . . . . . . . . . . .
“Mmm-a mmm-a… WHAT?”
“I’M FINALLY UP!!!”
