Gilly's pretty good with the bat,
He also knows how to take a ripper catch.
I reckon he'd be Captain if someone gave him a go,
He'd put on a real great show.
Going in at number 3,
I bet he'd even score a century.

He is definitely in Healy's shadow,
And he is as fast as an arrow.
When it comes to stumping,
He gives all the batsmen a dumping.
I reckon he and Lee should go down in history.

There is a really scary bowler called "Dizzy",
But Gilly tells him he's being silly.
The match is nearly over and although the crowd is smiling,
The batsmen are nearly crying.
Gilly takes a ripper catch,
And wins Australia the match!

The next match was going well,
India sort of fell down a well.
Gilly was on 102,
When he needed to go to the loo.
Celebrating with a beer in his hand,
Australia had won the cup down South.

C'mon Aussie C'mon C'mon.
