Misleading dreams

You were in my dream,
it felt so real,
your hand on my hand,
was all i could feel.

Everything stopped,
i couldn't hear a sound,
i realised then,
it was love that i found.

It was like a dream,
to good to be true,
as the dream went on,
i thought of it through and through.

How i misunderstood the situation,
it was better at the time,
but now i think about it,
you could never be mine.
