An empty birdcage by the stairs
A pagoda that we never use
A bicycle for which no one cares
Falling apart from much abuse
A swimming pool
Like an emerald lagoon
With floating dead things;
A glittering jewel
There is a miniature cemetery:
Two black cats and a canary
I would like to go and bury
Myself in there one day
I would go out there everyday
I would go out there just to play
Hide and Seek, and watch clouds roll
A fair-haired little doll.
