Sitting in a silent car,
Gazing at nothing at all,
Fiddling with my calm hands,
Not knowing of the approaching fall.
Suddenly a CRASH,
A distant scream,
My mind is blank,
It's all a dream.
OR IS IT?
I do not know,
My vision is fading,
My hearing is low.
My legs are stiff,
My arms are heavy,
There's blood all over,
I'm trying to keep steady.
Do I dare speak?
Do I dare move?
I hear sirens and shouts,
What do I have to prove?
My memory has faded,
I can't remember a thing,
I'm sitting in bed,
My head's got a sting.
Soon I realize,
It was all real,
My pain was genuine,
I wait and heal
