For so long i was standing there,
on that broken road.
not sure which direction to take
so confused and out of place.

But it was you that day who found me
and opened up those doors.
now i know how my life should be.
i know about the plans you have for me.

You alone have saved me
you have shown me right from wrong.
you helped me carry that heavy load
when the road was to long.

When i feel as though i’m falling
i reach out and take your hand.
you pull me back to safety,
You always understand.

You found me on that broken road
that grey and lonely day.
You have shown me a better life
and i still thank you to this day.
