Nature's Seasons

Seasons of nature, hot, warm and cold,
The cycle of seasons, shall never grow old.

First there is Summer, season of sun,
Swimming and Surfing, all sorts of beach fun!
Waking up early, and staying up late,
Each days adventure, is left up to fate.
Cycling and Shopping, Movies with friends,
Our Summer memories, will never end.

Next there is Autumn, the season that's warm,
Where leaves fall from trees, in all shapes and forms.
It's a time for renewal, and to prepare for the cold,
In with the new, and out with the old.
And all day long, children will play,
In the crisp Autumn air, of March, April, May.

Then there is Winter, season of snow,
Keeping ourselves warm, as cold winds blow.
Having a snow fight, building snow men,
Drinking hot chocolate, when day comes to end.
And when Winter passes, we're struck by relief,
For no more cold nights, to disturb our sound sleep.

Then finally Spring comes, season of life!
Where everything's studied, with a fresh insight.
Animals will mate, and plants will grow,
As the cycle of life continues to flow.
The beauty of Springtime, a vision for all,
Creatures of all sizes, from great to small.

Then when this is over, the pattern repeats,
The seasons of nature, an unrecognised treat!
