Undiscovered

While it lays there undiscovered
Waiting to be found
With impatience and anger
It wanted to jump up from the ground.
Because it was stable and couldn’t move
Eager to explore more of the world
Lay there a small yellow canary
With a broken limb.
In pain and discomfort
It hopped on one leg
With happiness and laughter
It fell back to the ground.
