Nature's Ways
By Laura Faggiano
Grade 5
Will we ever see the way
The ocean crashes against the rocks?
Will they? Do they?
Or the way a hurricane rips
Along the grassy fields?
Will they? Do they?
Will we ever notice a lightning
Bolt strike across the horizon?
Will they? Do they?
Will we ever spot a roaring volcano
Spitting out waves of lava?
Will they? Do they?
Can you hear the trampling of
Wilder beasts in a stampede
Trampling across the savannah plains?
Will they? Do they?
Will we ever hear nature’s call as it
Always yells, or the scent of
Red roses
The scent around your nose it dwells, can you feel natures ways, creating this Earth, this one and only Earth, Our Precious, Precious Earth.
The Earth is our gift of nature, so don’t deny the fact,
It gives us everything to live, but is going down hill,
With the global warming impact.
So do the Earth a favour, and help bring out nature!!!
