You open the door, and stumble inside.
“Hey Mum!” a voice from the kitchen;
Keep walking.
“Mum, you ok?”
Keep walking.
Inside you a feeling;
A feeling of shock, losing love; and life.
You trip over a shoe, but keep going.
Heading for one room.
You reach, and enter the bathroom as a lump forms in your throat
You close the door,
Flick that little lever, seclude yourself.
You sit on the edge of that shining white bath-tub.
You blink and bring your fists to your eyes.
Look at your reflection, wonder how this could have happened.
“Mum, you ok?”
