Letting You Go

I remember waking up that day
Knowing I'd never hear you say
All those things that used to bug me so,
It was hard letting you go.

But you know I love you, I really do,
And I'm sorry but I can't fight anymore for you.
I know your free of pain and care,
A place one day that we will share.

And when we meet on that day,
I really want you to hear me say,
I'm sorry for all of the things that I once did,
When I was just a little kid.

All your memories I try to keep,
And all your things, It hurts so deep.
Your not here and I miss you each day,
Nothing can bring you back, Nothing I say.
