Laurina's Exciting Adventure

Once, there lived a family of 5.They lived in New Zealand.
There lived a mum Holly, a dad Stephan, a little sister Zoey,
a big brother Jack and a girl Laurina.
One day Laurina was playing cards with Jack.
Suddenly, Laurina’s star shape mat flew up!
Laurina and Jack jumped on it as it sailed through the window.
‘‘Amazing,’ said Laurina.
Jack gave a grin.
The mat landed on a soft piece of grass.
Laurina and Jack got off and ran towards a cave.
‘‘Let’s explore,’ cried Jack.
Together they walked deep into the cave.
A very old man sat on a broken log.
‘‘What is your name?’ he asked.
‘‘Mine is Laurina and this is Jack, my brother,’ replied Laurina.
‘‘Can you find me a gem stone? You’ll have to go through lots of obstacle?’ asked the man.
The children nodded. Of course! They loved adventure!
The old man quickly handed them each a map for the hunt.
The children had to start at the Green Forest!
They ran through the forest dodging tree by tree.
At last they came to a lake. It was silver.
A sign said “Welcome to the silver lake, where it smells like fresh, new cake!”
The children swam to the other the other end of the lake.
Then they came to a slide.
It said “This was written in pen, you will never come out again!”
Laurina looked terrified!
But in order to get the gem, she had to continue.
They slid down the slide.
Then in front of them was the gem!
The man had given Jack a very special bag to carry the gem in.
Jack put the gem inside the bag and they ran back to the cave.
Jack gave the bag to the old man.
‘‘Thank you,” the man said.
The children got their reward and their adventure ended.
