Going To The Bush

School is finished, out for the year,
Some travel far and some stay home,
But, to school, some will reappear,
And soon to the bush we will roam.
First we go along the highway,
Then a picturesque country lane,
On to our camp without delay,
Then we are there, the bush again.
Slowly we climb up a steep hill,
Looking over a sumptuous sight,
We continue hiking and hiking until,
We come to a great height.
Then we can see all the splendour,
Resting atop such a high hill,
We are not hurried anymore,
Up here with friends, we are still.
