Once a little bee was waking up. “Bana Bee, come down stairs please”, called his mother. “Can you collect some pollen for me to have on my toast?” “OK”, called Bana Bee. That day was freezing. Bana Bee was looking for a flower to land on. “Wow!” said Bana Bee, “a big patch of flowers.” Bana Bee landed on one of the flowers. “Well that’s weird! I can’t taste any pollen. Oh, silly me, it’s a picnic blanket, not a real flower!” Back home, Bana Bee’s mother was getting worried. “I’m home”, Bana Bee finally called out. “Good. Now I can eat my toast”. “Mum, I didn’t get any pollen”. “What? Come with me”, said Mum, “look, there’s a lovely flower “. “Oh, great. Thanks Mum for your help.” “Now, I can eat my toast with some lovely pollen”, said Mum as she sat down to eat her breakfast. “Thank you Bana Bee for trying”.
