Watching

As my feet crunch on the rocks I watch the waves come up on the sandy beach,
I watch the kids run down the beach,
I see people getting buried by little toddlers in the yellow sand,
I can see the busy fishermen fishing out at sea,
Crabs and colourful fish come swimming by,
Watching us and smelling the great sea,
I can smell the sea in my nose,
My feet are sinking into the smooth sand,
My hands are covered in sand,
Lots of people making lots of sandcastles,
People racing along the beach as fast as they can,
Collecting the biggest and most colourful shells that they can,
People jetty-fishing and lots of people having a great time,
I hear lots of voices screaming and yelling,
Two toddlers love to play in the little waves,
They run in and then they run very quickly out,
Parents surfing, the ice-cream van is selling delicious ice-cream,
The ice-cream man is selling lots of ice-creams,
People are rushing to the ice-cream truck,
People are swimming,
People are laying on their beach towels sunbaking,
Boats with lots of skiers behind them,
Lifeguards are jumping off very high lifeguard towers saying ‘Ice-cream!’
Then the beach is cleared because day turns into night,
There is a big party at the beach because it’s the Queen’s Birthday, And they are very, very, very happy because the Queen is awesome,
Then lots of clowns come to the beach,
Something very exciting for all the little kids,
Kids are laughing at the clowns with funny trikes and falling over,
They are very funny and a man got shot out of a circus cannon and blasted out to the sea and belly flopped into the sea,
Crabs jump out of the way for the landing!
