Farewell my friend, farewell,
It seems your time has come,
My heart weeps for you,
For I feel your departure is too soon,
But alas! I cannot untangle death’s cold embrace,
Strange, however strange this is,
For although sorrow dwells within me,
Joy and envy does as well,
For you will now enjoy the eternal rest not privy on this mortal plane,
I shall pray day and night that I shall join you soon,
So wait for me for my journey is not yet complete,
Farewell my friend, farewell…
