I was the bird soaring across the ocean
I was the last leaf to fall
I was the earth and you were the sun
You were what kept me going
You are what I have left behind

You are the wind that blows across my face
You are the tears on my pillow
You are the song I hear inside my head
You are the voice of my words
You are the strides in my step
You are what makes my heart beat
You are the world to me
You are gone
