Death By Soggy Sandwich

My hands reach out
And touch the bread,
In place of spongy softness,
There’s squelchiness instead
I lift up the crust
In all it’s purple glory
I’m shocked and appalled
At a sight most gory
Beetroot! Gasp! Tomato too!
I scream with strong aggression,
The cheese is red and lettuce purple, eww,
‘Tis ruined I fear, but wait…
I go to the canteen, I die
Because sandwiches cost $3.50
WHHYYY…???
