Fake A Smile

Play with fire ‘till they think you’re cool,
Sing at your own funeral,
Pumping bass like you’re no fool,
You strut down the invisible runway.

You run around like you know why,
You play a tune like it’s a style,
In love with a picture but all the while,
It was just a mirror.

Join a boyband to get the fans,
See a concert to mock the band,
Get in a fight just cause you can,
It ain’t worth it in the end.

Now we’ve been sitting here for a while,
A mention of love and you run a mile,
So comb your hair and paint a smile,
They’ll soon find out you’re a faker.
