Athletes and spectators come to the games
Umpires and competitors celebrate big names
The leader holds the flag up high
As the rest of the nations go marching by
As athletes are in each competition
They’re trying to beat the opposition
The Aussie athletes do their best
Some of them are from the west
Spectators are cheering very loudly
When the Aussies win, they’re singing proudly
In the stands they watch with awe
It’s hard to tell, they’re so unsure
The Water Cube, at night it glimmer.
Changing colours as it shimmers
Inside the cube the athletes have fun
From up above, like a shining sun
Closing down the Water Cube and Nest
While all the athletes have a rest
Spectators sad as they watch their peers
The Olympics will be four more years
