Letter To The People About Greenhouse Gas

i’d woken up early
worried about some
absurd matter
decided to
start writing a new letter
something to do with clothes
but remembered about the
greenhouse emissions
it’s spewed out
by factories
everyday
seemed new enough
now the earth’s dying
too much gas emission
now the
weather’s funny
it’s always hot
and dry
and there isn’t
any water
thinking about my
new letters to the people
those that say nothing
important
decided to
try and help the earth
you’re killing the earth
your household
demanding electricity
no
it’s more to do with
the government
so i’ll not start my
new letter revolution
instead i want a
school of new letter writing
write letters
everyone
send them
via gas emissions
make them rain down
on parliament house.
