I lay there-quiet, unmoving under the surface of the water. I tried to swim up to the surface but my body wouldn't allow it. My lungs were collapsing, my vision was fading.
I gave up, the darkness engulfed me. I remembered how as soon as my parents left for work I decided to go for a swim. The memory replayed in my mind, then replayed again. All I could feel was guilt-and so would my parents.
