Rain

As I fell down to Earth from the dark heap above,
the sun penetrated my thin skin.

I then felt my body boil, and the light within me shattered.
It flew away from me and began a dance among the clouds.

When I finally met the end of my journey,
I saw the light of my being join the others,
forming an arc that would paint the skies.
